The facilities at the lodge for children are brilliant - kept them entertained for ages. We cannot wait to visit again. So pleased to have visited.

Walter (Wally) was... read more our guide, who has been in the business for 30 years, really impressed us with his knowledge and did not stop looking for wildlife to show us even when it got dark. His passion and enthusiasm really came across, he even had a camera so he could take pictures for his own collection! We saw all of the big 5 and much more.

We all loved the lodge and found all of the staff to be genuinely warm and friendly. We were a bit chilly after our first drive so it was wonderful to warm up by the open fire. The food was really great and plentiful and I loved the breakfasts, I wish I knew how to cook omlettes like that. The rooms were spacious with large comfortable beds. We used the pool even though it was winter.

I honestly can't think of a single negative thing to say about Bayala, it really is one of the best places I've ever stayed!
